Top Timeshare Companies

If you’re considering a timeshare, you should browse what different companies have to offer. Some timeshare companies have internal swaps, points, and other bonuses that make owning a timeshare so much more enjoyable. Give these companies a shot for the best of the best.

Holiday Inn Club Vacations

Holiday Inn Club Vacations has over 4,500 resorts, so you can easily trade your timeshare for another in a different location. It also offers a points program that allows you to purchase your vacation, so you’re not tied to one unit at one resort. Financing is also available for those who are looking to pay out the timeshare long term.

Holiday Inn Club Vacations does have an exchange fee of $112, but it has no banking fees. Booking fees cost $59 if you book outside of your home resort, and customers are charged a cancellation fee if they cannot attend their reservation.

Marriott Vacation Club

The Marriott Vacation Club has over 2,900 resorts and a points program. The biggest benefit of Marriott Vacation Club is that it doesn’t have exchange fees, banking fees, or booking fees. That can majorly cut down on vacation costs— which means you can spend more on fun activities. There are also no cancellation fees if you are unable to follow through with your reservation.

Starwood Vacation Ownership

Starwood Vacation Ownership has over 2,900 resorts and a points program, as well. If you like a timeshare, you have the option to purchase it through the company. Financing is also available for those who do wish to buy a timeshare through Starwood Vacation Ownership. Exchange fees cost clients $189, but there are no booking fees. This company is one of the few groups that also has a banking fee, which costs $99 if you choose not to use your vacation.

Bluegreen Resorts

There are over 4,500 resorts available to choose from with Bluegreen Resorts. Along with a points program, the company also allows you to purchase real estate if you love your timeshare. Financing is also available for those looking for payment plans. Exchange fees through Bluegreen Resorts are some of the highest at $209 if you want to trade a vacation that’s already booked. Booking is free, but if you don’t use your vacation, you’ll be charged a $35 banking fee.

Disney Vacation Club

One of the final top timeshare resort destination companies is Disney Vacation Club. With over 4,500 resorts, there are plenty of timeshares to choose from, and you can buy a property if you love it. Disney Vacation Club also allows financing for some timeshares.

The exchange fees are low but will charge you a $95 fee. Thankfully, Disney doesn’t charge a banking fee for unused vacations, but you will have to pay $95 for each vacation you book outside of your vacation resort. Disney Vacation Club is also one of the few timeshare resort companies that has an expiration date, but it’s set at a high 48-year limit.
